Objects and representations
An object identity is stable; every semantic version is an immutable manifest with one or more portable representations.
Identity and versioning
id@version addresses exact content. Names and tags aid discovery but do not define identity. A representation declares its own type, format, media type, byte length, URL, and SHA-256 SRI hash.
Manifest
The aso/object/v0.1 schema places name, description, tags, timestamps, provenance, generator, and representations at the top level. Published bytes and manifests are content-addressed and cannot be replaced.
